Both Orkney beef and lamb are registered under the EU ‘Protected Designation of Origin’ (PDO) scheme – the most strict and specific registration available. No other beef in the UK has achieved this high ranking status.

- All meat is 100% traceable back to the Orkney farm of origin. A Certificate of Authenticity is supplied with EVERY delivery providing details about your particular consignment of beef and/or lamb
- Orkney Meat is a founder member of the ‘Specially Selected Scotch Assured Processor Scheme’ which is administered and audited by Quality Meat Scotland
- The plant has a fully-functioning HACCP plan
- All farms are full members of the SSS Farm Assurance scheme
Availability:
- Orkney beef is available in either bone-in or primals – packed to customer specifications. We can supply boned out sides, vacuum packed and boxed, 85VL trim, 95VL trim and PAD.
